The truth is I am a real, whole and yet unfinished person who is always learning more about myself and the world.
I laugh, I cry, I swear sometimes.
I enjoy being outside, preferably in nice weather, my body does not enjoy winter much.
I am a fan of theatre and live shows – I will cry and laugh in all the right places, mostly.
I used to read a lot. Now I am experimenting to be more creative having always thought I wasn’t good at it. I draw, doodle, colour in, it helps calm or focus my mind.
I always take too many photos.
I am rubbish at technology compared to most, I understand people, not things. The truth is I have no real desire to be better at technology or to use it more than I need to.
I enjoy cooking
I am rubbish at late nights and I get peopled out after a while.
I love sunrises and sunsets, I will never tire of seeing them or stop being in awe. The colours, the warmth of the new day and the reflection of the day that has past. I can really breathe at these times of the day.
Although I do struggle with my physical health at times, I genuinely try my best to look after myself so I enjoy walking when I can and always appreciate a view.
I am a neurospicey, menopausal Geordie lass who speaks her mind and cares less what others think about that with each passing year.
My brain goes on adventures and sometimes I hyperfocus on something – however, this makes me an excellent addition to a quiz team because I know so much random stuff, in detail. It also means I know a lot about the things I have chosen to learn, and yet I can still wander off topic.
I am very comfortable to be me. It took me a long time to say that, so I understand and never underestimate the value of therapy and supervision, friendship, support, connection, faith, fun and love.
I am proud to have invested almost 20 years in ongoing study, learning and working as a therapist. If you’d like to, you can read more about my training, experience and qualifications HERE
Have a look around the website, my hope is you will find the answers to most of the initial questions you may have.
I look forward to hearing from you if you’re drawn to contact me
Best wishes
