Choosing the right therapist is a significant decision. To ensure you feel confident and informed, I offer a no-obligation initial consultation (60 or 90 minutes). This session serves as a collaborative space to discuss your needs, explore available options, and determine if my expertise aligns with your goals.
If it becomes clear that your needs would be better met by a different specialism, I will provide appropriate recommendations. My priority is ensuring you receive the most effective care, whether with me or another professional.
Clinical Experience & Specialisms
Since 2007, I have worked full-time as a therapist, gaining extensive experience supporting adults and young people. While I work with a wide range of concerns—including anxiety, stress, depression, and relational difficulties—I have developed deep clinical specialisms in:
- Trauma: PTSD and complex PTSD (cPTSD).
- Neurodiversity: Tailored support for neurodivergent individuals.
- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI/TBI): Cognitive and emotional rehabilitation.
My Therapeutic Approach
I provide a bespoke therapeutic journey rather than a “one size fits all” model. Your history and experiences are unique; therefore, your treatment plan will be underpinned by a clear clinical rationale and a collaborative spirit.
I offer a supportive, non-judgmental, and confidential environment where you can feel emotionally safe to explore your feelings. I am known for being warm, genuine, and approachable, valuing every part of your experience—including the hurt, the defensive, and the fearful.

Taking the First Step
It is natural to feel hesitant about speaking with a stranger. However, many clients express a sense of profound relief after the first meeting, finding clarity in understanding their struggles for the first time.
I am committed to walking this path with you ethically and compassionately, moving at your pace.
My background and experience
Since beginning my professional practice in 2007, I have developed an extensive clinical portfolio spanning the public, private, and charitable sectors including:
- Employee Assistance & Corporate Services: Providing tailored counseling for EAPs, faith-based organizations, and the medical and legal insurance industries.
- NHS & Primary Care: Serving as a Qualified Provider for the NHS “Let’s Talk” service (formerly DASH and SPA) within the IAPT framework (2011–2016).
- Specialist Trauma & Brain Injury: Acting as Clinical Lead for an acquired/traumatic brain injury charity. I provide specialist counselling and trauma-informed assessments and supervision for individuals, case managers, and legal teams.
- Children & Young People: Working as an Associate Therapist within dedicated youth services.
- Media & Consultation: Serving as a counselling subcontractor for ITV and managing clinical/consultant supervisor contracts for local councils and health and welfare organisations and charities.
- Clinical Supervision: Providing supervision for qualified psychotherapists, trainees, and healthcare professionals.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice
I specialise in neurodiversity-affirming psychotherapy and clinical supervision. Neurodiversity recognises that neurological differences—affecting approximately 1 in 7 people in the UK—are natural variations rather than deficits. As an Autistic practitioner with ADHD, I combine clinical expertise with lived experience to support clients in navigating the unique strengths and challenges associated with neurodivergence.
Spirituality & Inclusive Practice
As a member of BACP Spirituality, I recognize the significance of a client’s worldview, whether informed by faith, pastoral needs, or secular beliefs. While I am a Christian, I work consistently and equitably with clients of all faiths and those with no religious affiliation, ensuring a respectful and inclusive therapeutic environment.
Professional Memberships & Accreditations
I am committed to the highest ethical standards, maintaining regular clinical supervision and continuous professional development through the following bodies:
- BACP (Registered Member, MBACP): Certificate No. 070237
- National Counselling Society (Accredited Member): No. NCS1401672
